The AVIR Brainwork Series

In this focused and clinically oriented session, attendees will examine the impact of intrasaccular flow disruption in the treatment of wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms (WNBAs), with a particular emphasis on the WEB™ Device—the pioneer and most studied intrasaccular flow disruptor with 15 years of clinical evidence.

Dr. Thana Theofanis, a dual-trained interventional neurosurgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor at Jefferson University Hospital - Main Line Health, will provide expert insights into the clinical considerations that influence the efficiency and effectiveness of intrasaccular flow disruption for WNBA. Leveraging both her extensive experience and the robust body of evidence supporting the WEB device, Dr. Theofanis will discuss evidence-based approaches to streamlining procedural workflows, optimized sizing strategies, selecting appropriate patients, and achieving consistent treatment outcomes.
This session is intended for clinicians and industry professionals seeking a comprehensive understanding of intrasaccular flow disruption in WNBA treatment using the WEB Device. Advancing Aneurysm Care Through Intrasaccular Flow Disruption: Expert Insights of the WEB Device

Objectives:

  • Review the clinical rationale and mechanism of action of intrasaccular flow disruption using the WEB device.
  • Discuss patient selection, procedural techniques, and treatment considerations for intracranial aneurysm management with the WEB device.
  • Evaluate clinical outcomes, safety data, and real-world experiences associated with WEB device utilization in aneurysm care.
